All About Our No-Interest Microloans

How We Can Help

Our No-Interest Microloans are designed to help to cover the gap when a work disruption leaves you short on bills, or to prevent community members from falling into a poverty trap due to minor driving-related fees or tickets.

When the unexpected comes knocking, even the smallest disruption to our hours or earnings can leave us short of what we need to meet basic needs, or worse. For up to $100 each, our Microloans may be modest, but by providing these $100 microloans we aim to make sure no one in our community falls “just short” of meeting their basic needs or resolving an issue that could spiral into a greater debt crisis down the road.

There are no weird strings attached or hidden conditions – instead, we use a good faith agreement that relies on social accountability through personal references to help ensure repayment. By paying the loan back you’re not just holding up your end of the agreement, but actually paying it forward. Every $100 that comes back to us goes right back out to help another, creating a sort of revolving fund that lets us get the most out of every dollar.

If you’re dealing with a work or earning disruption that’s left you just short on bills, or are facing an issue of minor fees/tickets related to driving, you can reach out to us about a No-Interest Microloan through the Ask For Help Page using the button below. Once we hear from you we will connect you with a case manager to see if this may be the right option for you.
