How We Can Help

For professionals in the Hospitality Industry, the nature of how we do what we do can create vulnerability when a personal or family crisis interferes with the ability to work.
If disaster strikes, the strain of additional costs and lost workdays can often combine to pose an unreasonable burden on our ability to meet basic needs.
This is where we come in.

As we get started, our main focus is providing our “Little Lift” No-Interest Microloans, which work as a revolving loan fund to help us sustain our ability to get out meaningful assistance in modest, but reliable amounts to prevent community members from facing more severe situations in the future.

As we grow and continue to develop a sustainable foundation of support, we look forward to rolling out our main program of Direct Financial Assistance. This program is fully built out and ready to launch as soon as we have the resources to do so.

No-Interest Microloans

Direct Financial Assistance

With many of us living paycheck to paycheck, disruption to our expected work hours or income can lead to falling short on bills for the month. Not having an extra $100 on hand to deal with a car inspection or insurance payment could lead to tickets and fines that create the conditions for spiraling debt if not resolved. Our No-Interest Microloans are signed to help prevent these situations from becoming a bigger issue down the road.

When a personal or family crisis interferes with the ability to work in the Hospitality Industry, the strain of the additional costs and lost workdays combined often pose an unreasonable burden on ensuring basic needs are met. In the near future, we plan to offer Direct Financial Assistance through individual grants to Hospitality Industry professionals experiencing distress due to illness, injury, family passing, or housing-related disaster.
