Lifting Spirits Together
While Lifted Spirits offers two different opportunities to receive financial assistance, we recognize that there are many needs in our community that go beyond the needs we can serve through our Emergency Relief Financial Assistance program. To expand our ability to help our community and create a more comprehensive support system, we are in the process of establishing our Spirit Lifting Network.
The Spirit Lifting Network is collaboration-centric approach to supporting the Hospitality community. The idea is simple: what Lifted Spirits can do alone is limited, but through engaging with the community to build out a greater capacity for support we can bring more resources to our community. Together we are what we cannot be alone!
By creating a framework for collaborative support, Lifted Spirits is working with a wide variety of local businesses, non-profits, and individuals to provide a broader network of support services. As we receive requests for help, those that we cannot help directly we are then able to refer to community partners for additional assistance.
The Spirit Lifters
The Spirit Lifting Network is composed of other area nonprofits and charities, volunteer private service providers, peer mentors, and dedicated volunteers who are able to offer a substantially wider array of services and support to help make our community stronger and more resilient.
We call these folks our Spirit Lifters, and where Lifted Spirits stops, they begin. When you ask for help, Lifted Spirits will start by doing what we can with what we have to offer. When the help you need falls outside of our boundaries, we then look to refer you to an area service provider that can provide that help. As the Spirit Lifting Network grows, so does the range of help we can collectively offer to those in need.
